Our newly introduced Museum quality sharps carbine is the shorter version of the Sharps rifle. Its smaller size and new breech loading mechanism made it a favorite of Cavalry soldiers on both sides of the civil war and into the later 1800's. You see Sharps Rifles used in many Civil war and Western movies. The blued finished Replica Sharps Carbine Model has the same Metal Construction, hardwood stock and working action features as the large Sharps rifle. It is 39 3/4" long and weighs 5.4 Lbs
